 The last time we saw Emily, she was getting out of the house for the first time since her accident and we were feeding her and helping her drink at the Mexican restaraunt. We’d seen her trying to cope with her cast at home, which really sucked for her. This clip picks up the same day that the previous clip ends. After eating, we’re off to the department store where she’s happy to be able to push around a shopping cart and just walk around a look at things. We do that for a little bit and leave. Next, we skip to the future and her plaster minerva is now covered in signatures, dirty and shiny. Although she’s still got her minerva, she’s ready to get back out there and go out to a club and dance. She’s got a date and she’s getting ready to go out. She puts on some makeup and a necklace over her minerva. She puts on some heels and a skirt and is really starting to feel herself. She asks Alexa to put on some music and starts to dance in front of the mirror. It’s time to leave now as she dances out of the room and to the stairs. On the stairs, she make a wrong step and falls. We find her at the bottom of the stairs crying about her arm and her leg. Next, she’s at home in a wheelchair in her minerva but also a short leg cast and a short arm cast. Her spirits are low again as she uses her good foot to push herself around to the kitchen to get something to drink, which is difficult. She manages to get herself on the couch where she tries to get comfortable and then back into her wheelchair again. She realizes that she needs a friend to come and take care of her. She reaches out to a friend that does come over, help her get upstairs and get comfortable in bed. |
