Angel’s Uber LLC Ride

First we see Angel out crutching at a shopping center and then our car pulls up. She asks if we’re her Uber and she gets in. She’s got her pants pulled down over her cast and a big sock over her foot. She throws her cast up on the back of our seat and asks if the smell bothers us. She talks about her cast and pulls her pants leg up and eventually removes the sock, so her casted toes are propped up right by our head as she wiggles them. Later, after a stop, she asks if she can sit up front, so she props her cast up on the dashboard. At one point, the car brakes quickly and she hits her cast on the dashboard which hurts her leg and she’s very upset. She makes us hold her cast for the rest of the drive and asks for a toe rub when we arrive at her place.

Tabitha’s Dark Red 90° LLC

After more than 15 minutes of crutching around the outside of the mall, she asks if you’d help her wash the car. Next, we’re outside at a table enjoying a coffee together, with her cast up on the table, and she’s complaining about her leg hurting… her meds are wearing off. Next, we’re at a DIY car wash and Tabitha has changed into some short shorts and a tennis shoe, showing her entire cast. You said you’d help, but you stand back and enjoy the show as Tabitha spends ten minutes hopping around on one foot washing the car.

Adara Jordan’s Dark Red Public DSS

This shoot may go down as the best DSS video I’ve made since Kim’s Black DSS from the early 2000’s. It was a crazy day as Adara was totally spontaneous and wanted to do everything. The full story clip will be on Clips4Sale later, but this Part 1 is just the public footage (the public footage will be available on Joe’s Clips), which Adara insisted we do. She also insisted on trying to drive in her DSS! I did convince her to let me drive though. I didn’t have my action cam, so I had to film with a large camera in stores, making for some great looking footage. Adara was fearless about doing anything in her DSS (wish I would have known that in the past). On top of that, she’s looking better than ever… totally gorgeous. So, enjoy this public footage of Adara at the drug store, restaraunt, and grocery store.

She props her cast up on the table and wiggles her toes as they talk about her casts. Later, they’re back in the bedroom hanging out and Rene’s feeling uncomfortable so her friend helps her stretch and get comfortable.

Back from the hospital, she’s looking at herself in the mirror for the first time and is not happy with what she sees. She brushes her hair the best she can and then makes herself something to eat in the kitchen. She drops some food and has to get on the floor to pick it up. Using her upper body and abs, she’s able to move a little bit, with a little encouragement and some occaisional physical help. Not sure what to call this extended ULC so for now I’m calling it a ULHS. This clip starts with Bree just trying to move small distances and get on furniture and at the end, she moves the best she can to pose for the camera.

Later, she crutches around a craft store for a while and then hits the shoe store at the mall, where a customer has a very excited reaction to her cast. It’s now “five weeks later” and Victoria’s LLC is dirty, worn, and covered in graffiti. Now she’s got to go out Christmas shopping with her mom Rose (she’s modeled for CF in the past). First, they hit the hardware store and Victoria has jeans and a sock over her cast. Next, they take a break for lunch at a restaurant and Victoria props her cast on a chair and wiggles her toes. Later, they head to the department store and she has her pants leg pulled up and no sock. Finally, Victoria hits the craft store in different pants showing even more of her leg cast. I think the last time we saw Jasmine was when she was recreating some real casts that she’s had. Now she’s back in a straight white LLC and heading out to the mall with a friend. She crutches all around the mall, stopping in shops and has some interactions with people. Even Santa had some comments about her cast, although I’m not sure you can hear him. After lots of crutching around, she takes a break to prop her cast up and wiggle her toes. Next she props her cast up on a chair and has a drink at a coffee shop. Cut to “five weeks later” and her cast is now covered in signatures and showing some serious wear. She heads out for more shopping with her friend at two more stores!

Janeen’s Public Blue SLC

This shoot was almost live… posted just a few hours after it happened. We were going to do a scripted shoot, but we spontaneously decided to go out in public in an SLC instead. Janeen is not yet great at crutching and gets tuckered out quickly. She lasts about five minutes when an employee suggests a scooter. She’s relieved to have a break from crutching. She pulls off her sock, props up her leg and wiggles her toes. Janeen shops for Thanksgiving ingredients, occaisionally hopping up to grab some items. Then we head outside where she practices crutching for the camera. Finally, she models her cast and toes for the camera back indoors.

Riley’s Red Pirate PLC

Before we continue with the second half of Angel’s video, here’s a special Halloween Fantacast with Riley. I hadn’t made a PLC in a while, so we decided to do a pirate theme and give her a peg leg. I had an old tripod around, so I ripped off one of its legs to use for Riley’s peg. This clip shows Riley learning to walk on it, first with a walker and then without it. Full disclosure, the peg turned out to be weak and cut the shoot short. Let me know if you have any feedback on this type of cast.

Jessica and I made this Halloween shoot for you yesterday. It starts with Jessica telling her friend about a weird experience she had the night before. She was drunk at a Halloween party and broke a statue… breaking off all four limbs. Not only did a clown curse her with “four breaks” but then curses her to “be a clown”. Jessica wakes up dressed as a clown, very upset and confused. She’s also very drawn to a cast she sees on the floor. Soon she finds out that every time she touches one of these casts, she gets a casted, broken limb. Slowly she starts to become a clown, phasing between two personalities. Jessica is in extreme pain, but she feels no pain in clown mode!

In this first half of an epic video, Angel has just arrived home in a fresh shoulder spica and neck brace after wrecking on her skateboard. She’s in pain and can’t seem to get comfortable. Next, she is up and trying to get a snack in the kitchen, using her good hand. We watch as she tries and struggles to do basic things including get comfortable in bed and brush her hair. Cut to a month and a half later and Angel is out in public with you shopping in her extremely aged SS. After wandering around for a bit, we find a place to eat and she interacts with a couple people at the restaurant.
