 Kody is in bed with a broken leg, looking at her phone and wondering how she is going to get to sleep tonight. When she pulls back the comforter, she reveals a long leg cast with a tube sock over it. Her cast is hot and she’s having a hard time getting comfortable. She googles for tips on how to make it feel better and one tip says to decorate the cast. She calls her friend London over to decorate her cast with her. London shows up and pulls her big tube sock off the cast as Kody winces. Next, they draw on the cast, but it does not make her leg feel better so she asks London to try massaging her actual cast. London suggests that some physical therapy might be more helpful and starts moving her leg for her. Kody is skeptical and cites Google’s suggestion of signing the cast. Next Kody asks London for a foot rub and London reluctantly agrees. Kody keeps trying to get London to stay all night and assist her in being comfortable but London is not willing to do that. She does try to get Kody as comfortable as possible. Eventually Kody thinks that maybe what she really needs is to get up and practice crutching with London spotting her. First she has London help her get dressed. She practices crutching around and has a couple accidents along the way. Kody gets frustrated with London’s help and eventually just asks her to leave and then immediately slips and falls to the floor. On the floor and in pain, she’s now very sorry and asks for London’s help again. London gets Kody up on the couch and then leaves. Kody has a rough time getting back to the bedroom by herself. |
