Emily’s crutching up a big hill at the park in a pastel print LLC. She has a seat at the shelter and calls a friend to tell her how excited she is to be getting married but she broke her leg doing a challenge for her fiancé a couple weeks ago. She’s not happy about her leg cast and how it looks but she’s optimistic that people will be kind to her and her dress will cover her cast. Now it’s the wedding day. We find Emily in a wedding dress at the venue talking to someone on the phone and crying about her ruined wedding. She caught her fiancé making out with the maid of honor (her best friend). The person on the phone can’t give her a ride so she gets an Uber. She has five minutes until it arrives so she crutches over to take one last look at the venue. She feels that her cast ruined everything. Once she reaches the center of the dance floor, she gets a phone call from her ex-fiancé and Emily unloads. She hangs up angrily and immediately slips and falls to the ground. She sits there and cries and vents to herself. She’s still there crying when she gets a notification that her Uber has arrived but she’s far from the pickup spot. She hurts herself trying to get up and tries to call him but it doesn’t work. She sets off crutching with her painful leg through sprinklers getting her cast and dress wet. In the next scene, you’re another Uber driver picking Emily up and she gets in and puts her cast on the dashboard. She likes you and asks you for your number and thanks you for making her day better. |
